You know what time it is… July Favorites! I can’t believe July is over- it feels like it’s time for back to school posts already:( But don’t worry, there’s still one more month before school starts. In the meantime, here are some beauty products I loved during the month of July.
1. Sephora/e.l.f. blotting papers
I wish I was joking, but I use these so much, especially since my friends and I walk around town almost every day. These sheets save me on any hot and humid day when my makeup starts to slide off my face.
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills and Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit- Forever Lit
This shade is the most beautiful highlight I have ever used. It is the perfect mix of white and purple. But my favorite part about this shade is how blinding it is- the brighter the better, right?
3. Beau Gâchis tapered blending brush and Royal and Langnickel Fan BMD-300 brush
Using these two brushes to pack on the highlight is the perfect combination: the fan brush covers more of the cheekbone and the tapered brush helps to apply the product to certain spots (especially the nose and cupid’s bow on the lips).
4. Too Faced Cocoa Contour: Chiseled to Perfection Kit
Recently I’ve been absolutely loving this palette, especially the shade ‘medium cocoa’. It gives a much more natural contoured look than any bronzer I’ve used before. Plus it smells good, which is always a plus.
5. Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo
I love this dry shampoo, especially in the summertime when my hair gets frizzy and feels gross. Pus, sometimes showering is not my #1 priority when I could be out with my friends. Gross? You know you’ve taken dry shampoo showers, too.
6. No 7 Gel Finish Nail Colour in ‘Persian Blue’
This color is so bright and happy, which is a huge change from the usual black/neutral color I tend to gravitate towards for my nails.
7. ‘Get to Know Me’ questions
I’ve discovered these lists of questions that are good conversation starters/tags while looking up writing prompts on Pinterest (click here to follow me). Oddly enough, I’ve become fascinated with these questions. Here are some questions that come up: Top 3 pet peeves, your first job, secret talent, favorite blog, etc. If you want me to do a blog post answering questions like that, comment below!
8. Spotify playlist- July
I’ve recently become OBSESSED with Post Malone and Zara Larrson, so most of the songs are by them, but click here to see the playlist I made for some of my favorite songs in July.
