I am so excited writing these words and I don't even know where to begin.
Two nights ago, at around 8:42 PM, I uploaded my first ever YouTube video.
This doesn't seem like a super crazy thing, and yeah, some people may find it a little weird, but it makes me so happy. I am so proud of myself for getting to this place in my life where I feel good about posting my face online for the world to see. The video is a makeup tutorial that I saw all over Pinterest and wanted to recreate. I'm working on doing more in-depth tutorials with more different colors, but for right now I'm sticking with my neutral colors with a pop of color, just like this tutorial. I can't wait to film more videos and upload them to my channel, (which will be linked here) as well as uploading to my Instagram and, of course, on this site too:) I thought it'd be cool to write a blog post every time I upload to my YouTube channel with my three most favorite products I used in that look (and don't worry, I'll always link everything I talk about). So, for this look, here were my three favorite products:
Absolute New York nano liner- This is the black liner you see in the look- I LOVE it. It's got great precision because of the fine point and it's ultra black. I would recommend "setting" it with an intense black eyeshadow because it seems to fade a little bit as the day progresses, but other than that it's a great liner!
Milani Everyday Eyes palette in Bare Necessities- I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how easily blendable these shadows are- plus, they're nicely pigmented. For only $10, I'd say it's worth it!
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara- This mascara is $30. Yup, $30. I got it in a kit so it was probably a little cheaper, but it is expensive. However, it is the best mascara I've ever used. I LOVE it so so much and I get so many compliments on my eyelashes- people ask me what mascara I use, too. It makes your eyelashes look long, thick, and full. If you're willing to pay $30 for a mascara I would highly recommend!
