Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

One of my favorite smells is banana being baked, so why not add chocolate chips to the mix? I love to make these banana chocolate chip muffins- they're easy and, of course, delicious.

Serving: 12

Takes: about 35 minutes

Heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

You will also need:

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup cooking oil

***Remember to add 1 and 3/4 cups of flour (there's only one cup of flour in the picture-don't get confused!!)

***I added a little more milk than 1/4- feel free to do so, as well as add some vanilla extract if you want!

Mix your dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips) in a large bowl. Then create a hole in the middle of the bowl (a website I say this recipe on described it as a "well") and pour the wet ingredients in (egg, cooking oil, milk, mashed banana) the well. Mix the dry and wet ingredients only to make it wet. Use an ice cream scooper and put your mixture into your pan (I used a cupcake pan).

Pop the pan in the oven and wait 20-25 minutes! When I made the muffins today they baked in 20 minutes.

Don't be freaked out by how they look before and after they're put into the oven- they may be lumpy and a little odd looking, but they sure are delicious! I hope you guys use this recipe and try out these muffins (credit to http://allrecipes.com/recipe/6957/banana-chip-muffins-i/ for the recipe which I have been using for a long time now). They're easy, delicious, and don't take a lot of time:)

Have a wonderful, wonderful day and may your kitchen smell like bananas and chocolate chips forever.
